The ESL Institute at the University of Wisconsin-Stout is seeking a highly motivated professional for the position of ESL Program Development, Recruitment and Summer Program Coordinator. This is a full-time, 12-month, academic staff position. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Work with the Director of International Education to recruit diverse international students for the ESL Institute. Develop marketing and recruitment plans to increase the quantity and maintain the quality of international students at UW-Stout. Create clear action plans with appropriate timelines for implementation. Work with Marketing Department to develop marketing materials and strategies. Manage the recruitment and summer camp budgets. Attend international recruitment fairs and visit schools overseas. Act as liaison to government agencies, sponsoring organizations, contracted education agents and foreign embassies and missions. Work with the ESL Academic Coordinator to develop special programs, some of which may involve extensive grant writing. Manage short-term summer language and culture camps for the ESL Institute. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree and experience in international admissions, higher education or a related field, with an interest in international recruitment. Must have demonstrated public relations skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level communication and presentation skills are required, and candidates must have an aptitude for accuracy and details, as well as strong organizational and problem-solving ability. Extensive domestic and international travel, with evening, night and weekend work required.? A familiarity with basic immigration procedures and SEVIS, working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,Publisher, and experience evaluating foreign educational credentials are beneficial.
