Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL): A disagreement with Time Inc. (NYSE:TWX) regarding selling iPad subscriptions for the latter?s magazines is apparently over, as iPad users can now subscribe to the publisher?s 20 magazine titles (among them, Sports Illustrated and People). So far, Time only permitted selling lone issues on the iPad, thanks mostly to Apple?s demand for a 30% share of subscription fees. Publishers hoped that Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) could provide a good alternative, but Kindle Fire sales are declining.
