Saline River Chronicle News: Instructors Sought For UAM's Non ...

?? ? ? ? ? MONTICELLO, AR ? The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking qualified instructors to teach non-credit classes in its Community Education Program this summer, according to Memorie Dickson, program coordinator.

? ? ? ? ? ?Program areas include art and hobbies, computers and technology, home and garden, health and fitness, personal and professional development, special interest and youth programming.
? ? ? ? ? ??The courses we have offered to date have been geared toward adults,? said Dickson. ??However, the summer months provide a perfect opportunity to expand our programming to include children and teens. Our goal is to provide children and their families quality, non-graded courses that are both stimulating and fun.?
? ? ? ? ? ?Individuals interested in teaching should be proficient in their subject areas, said Dickson. ?To submit a course for consideration, potential instructors should complete a course proposal form and return it to UAM Community Education, Box 3520, Monticello, AR 71656. ?Course proposal forms may be found on the university?s website (www.uamont.edu). ?Scroll to the bottom of the home page and click on ?Community Education? under ?Campus Resources.?
? ? ? ? ? ?The deadline for proposals is April 16. For more information, contact Dickson at (870) 460-1327 or dickson@uamont.edu.
